AJ Prager

AJ Prager, Managing Director, has 25 years of experience in the financial services space. He has deep experience working with colleges and universities on strategic partnerships, mergers and acquisitions, serving as engagement lead for Woodbury University’s merger with the University of Redlands, and Seattle University’s combination with Cornish College of the Arts (as well as several other non-public transactions). Mr. Prager helped create and implement the first Higher Education Strategic Transaction Framework (STF), an institution-specific tool serving to streamline and improve decision-making on partnership potential.

Mr. Prager works closely with The Western Association of Schools & Colleges (“WASC”), reviewing all “Change in Status” proposals as well as co-authoring WASC’s for-profit assessment framework, which remains a key tool in the accreditation evaluation process. Additionally, Mr. Prager has served on seven WASC accreditation teams. He holds a B.A. from Claremont McKenna College and an MBA from UCLA.
