Brad Wolverton is the Editor of The Chronicle of Higher Education, where he leads coverage of the biggest stories shaping colleges and universities. He oversees a 50-person newsroom of reporters, editors, visual journalists, and editorial growth specialists, ensuring the publication's coverage is timely, rigorous, and essential. He also serves on the executive leadership team, helping to oversee the company’s strategic direction and develop new products to serve the higher-education sector.
Wolverton has published stories on education, business, and sports in The New York Times, The Washington Post, BusinessWeek, and other national publications.
Earlier in his career, he spent 12 years at The Chronicle as a reporter and editor, covering the influence of money in college athletics and earning national recognition for investigative reporting. He is a graduate of Indiana University.
