Jeanne Meister is Founder, Future Workplace, workplace visionary, and the best-selling author of three books, Corporate Universities: Lessons in Building a World-Class Work Force, The 2020 Workplace: How Innovative Companies Attract, Develop and Keep Tomorrow’s Employees Today, and The Future Workplace Experience: 10 Rules for Mastering Disruption in Recruiting and Engaging Employees. Jeanne is known for creating HR Peer Networks around the themes of her best-selling books. She wrote the first book on the topic of corporate universities and went on to launch Corporate University Xchange (corpu.com) and successfully sold this. She then created Future Workplace (futureworkplace.com), another HR Peer network and recently sold this. Jeanne is currently conducting research on the impact of AI on leadership practices and what this means for both companies and institutions of higher education.

 

Jeanne is the recipient of the ATD Talent Development Thought Leader Award, given to one HR executive each year by the Association for Talent Development (ATD). This award honors Jeanne’s body of work on the future of workplace learning. Jeanne is also the recipient of the Colin Corder award, recently renamed as the Colin Steed Award for Outstanding Achievement in Workplace Learning by The Learning and Performance Institute (LPI). 

 

Jeanne is a sought-after expert on the future of working and learning, and she has been interviewed and contributed articles to such publications as; Chronicle of Higher Education, CLO Magazine, Financial Times, Fast Company, Forbes, Harvard Business Review, HBR Japan, HR Executive Magazine, HR Magazine, Journal of Business Strategy, REWORKED, TRAINING Magazine, People Matters, People & Strategy Journal, and Tech Target. Jeanne is also an internationally sought-after speaker on workforce planning and development, and she has been invited to speak throughout the United States and in the following countries: Brazil, Canada, Chile, Estonia, France, India, Italy, Jamaica, the Netherlands, Scotland, Spain, and the UK, to name some recent engagements.


Jeanne was previously Vice President of Market Development at Accenture (www.accenture.com). Jeanne is a graduate of the University of Connecticut with a Bachelor of Arts degree and a master’s in education from Boston University.  Jeanne also serves as Vice Chair of the Excelsior University board of trustees. Jeanne resides in New York City.
